Welcome to the start of the 2010 Soccer Season!

We’ve posted the Calendar for 2010 on the Web site. Games start this weekend 8/28/2010. There are no games next weekend (9/4/2010) because of the Labor Day Holiday.

Recreational Play

PAL is a recreational play league and we focus on having a great experience for our players. One part of this is that we play one half of the schedule and then the board resets the divisions to help make sure play remains competitive but fun.

The schedule for games for August 28 – September 25 is now available online. Schedules are subject to change with little advance notice! ALWAYS confirm your nest game with your coach in advance!

Most of our Preseason Friendly games will be held at River Glen Park or Galarza School, located immediately across Bird Avenue from each other.

Our “Field Location” page has been updated with local Field Numbers, driving directions, and weather conditions.

Our U15 teams will play home games at Athenour School.

Updates for Away Games outside of Willow Glen will be posted next week.

It’s about to begin! Our first games for some teams take place this weekend, with our optional preseason “Friendly” games scheduled for those teams that wanted to play.

In international soccer, a “Friendly” is when two teams play an exhibition match that has no impact on the season and is not part of an official competition.
